I’m Audrey Gilbert: writer, dreamworker, herbalist, intuitive counselor, and founder of Botanica Mystica. For the past decade, I’ve been weaving medicine, folklore, tarot, and dreamwork into a living body of work that helps people remember their connection to the wild, to their intuition, and to the deeper truths rising within.

ABOUT AUDREY…
Audrey Gilbert is a writer, intuitive counselor, and practitioner of the old, earth-rooted arts. A certified herbalist, hypnotherapist, and dreamwork guide, she weaves together plant spirit medicine, divination, and expanded-state healing to help others reconnect with their inner wisdom.
Her initiation into magic began in childhood, wandering the woods and streams of rural New England, where she first learned to listen to plants, weather, and the whispering languages of the wild. She graduated from Yale University and taught literature and poetry before turning toward the healing arts, where she discovered her gifts as an intuitive empath and visionary storyteller.
For more than twenty years, Audrey has offered intuitive readings, tarot guidance, and plant-centered divination practices. Since 2012 she has studied herbalism with some of the most beloved teachers of our time and apprenticed with shamans, dreamworkers, and Indigenous healers whose lineages inform her approach to spirit-led healing. She is a Certified Advanced Herbalist (The Herbal Academy), a Consulting Hypnotist (National Guild of Hypnotists), and a third-year initiate in the Green Mountain Druid School, where she studied Celtic mysticism, earth ritual, and the art of living in relationship with land and spirit.
Audrey is also the founder of Holistic Hypnotherapy, her integrative healing practice where she combines hypnosis, dreamwork, divination, and plant medicine to support clients through emotional transformation, chronic pain and illness, spiritual awakening, and life crossroads. Her work centers on helping people access altered states safely, reconnect with soul-led intuition, and reclaim the wisdom already alive within them.
Her first book, Herbal Dream Magic, will be published by Llewellyn in Fall 2026. She is also the author of Botanica Mystica, an ongoing illuminated grimoire-memoir exploring the intersection of tarot, plant lore, and personal transformation.
Audrey lives with her children in the intentional community of Cobb Hill Cohousing in Vermont, where she tends herbs, follows her dreams, and continues her study of the living world.
